Your project & your data

Dropfinder processes your audio and prepares your timeline locally on your Mac. Your footage does not need to be uploaded to this website.

The download form asks for an email address to provide access to the free application. We email you the download link and, until you subscribe, up to three setup tips and trial reminders over the following two weeks. Every email has an unsubscribe link. The live service records download and purchase activity, including the source of a click. Payments are handled through Stripe. These website and payment services are separate from the app’s local editing workflow. When you arrive from an ad or a tagged link, a first-party cookie remembers that source for 30 days, and the email used at checkout is matched with the download form, so that a purchase can be attributed to the ad or page that brought you here.

This website uses the Meta Pixel to measure visits and downloads coming from our ads on Facebook and Instagram. Meta may set cookies and receive technical data such as your browser, the pages viewed and the ad that brought you here. To measure those ads, our server also tells Meta when a download or a purchase happens, with your email address in hashed form only. You can manage ad preferences in your Meta account settings.
